1949 Founding of the manufacture of accumulators (NC).
1950 Founding of the company Silberkraft Leichtakkumulatoren GmbH in Duisburg.
Production programme:
Manufacture of Silver-Zinc-secondary and primary batteries.
1980 Start of production Li-SO2-batteries and battery packs at Silberkraft.
1992 Start of production Li-MnO2-batteries and battery packs at Silberkraft.
1993 Merging of the company Silberkraft Leichtakkumulatoren GmbH on the company Friemann & Wolf GmbH into the new corporation FRIWO SILBERKRAFT Gesellschaft für Batterietechnik mbH.
1997 Discontinue of supplies for the mining industry.
1998 Change of company name to FRIEMANN & WOLF Batterietechnik GmbH.
1999 Start of production of Nickel-Cadmium-batteries in fibre structure technology (DAUG-license).
2003 Acquisition by SAFT GROUP
2004 Relocation to Büdingen, concentration on Li/MnO2 and Silver zinc technologies.
